Huawei Sweden is looking for Wireless R&D experts to drive 5G

Do you want to take a key role in the team developing the Huawei 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) and relevant 5G technologies?

You will be part of one of our research teams, responsible for generating and evaluating innovative ideas for next generation radio network, base stations and associated technologies and solutions. Everyone in the team has at least a Masters degree and many have Doctorate degrees, coupled with many years’ experience to form vibrant and dynamic work environment. You will become a driver for system and technology innovation across the wireless research and development groups.

We work with the latest technologies and solutions in a creative environment where you will be expected to take initiative and contribute with ideas within the team.

5G RAN System
The candidate will be a driver for the systems architecture and functionality innovation, enabling a world class communication system meeting the future capacity, flexibility and services’ needs, and allowing for a variety of new deployment scenarios including Cloud RAN and Ultra-Dense Networks.

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in R&D of Radio Network or Radio Base Station Design, e.g. Logical, functional, SW and HW architectures, baseband and/or wireless applications systems and architectures. Highly developed communication skills are a must and a proven track record in technology leadership is meriting.

5G Parallel Computing
In order to leverage the many-core architectures as well as coping with the ever increasing processing demands it is important to parallelize the system wherever possible, from the applications down to the platform. The candidate will be a driver for the system and technology innovation within the area of parallel computing solutions and architecture in the Radio Access Network.

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in R&D of parallel systems, or parallel computing, in Radio Network or Radio Base Station Design.

The positions are in Stockholm/Kista. Some traveling required, within Sweden and to China.
