Responsibilities:

• You will be one of the responsible persons for the Lund team 5G standardization activities
  within 3GPP RAN1.
• Work in close collaboration with the Company’s standardization, system and algorithm
  research and development teams.
• Create and drive important Intellectual Property Rights and standardization proposals based
  on company’s agreed strategy.
• Communicating standardization activities and trends back to the Company and help

Experience and Skills:

• To be successful in this role the candidate must have a strong background in wireless
  communications, and good understanding of PHY as well as MAC layers, especially from
  the device/modem side. Prior experience of 3GPP RAN1 related work is mandatory
• The candidate should be familiar with LTE and its evolutions, and 5G new radio air

Technology Planning Engineer

About the position
In this role you will work in a small team with the responsibility to identify and analyze changes in trends, and new disruptive technologies that may affect Huawei’s wireless network product portfolio.

You will interact a lot with our local experts, but you are also expected to be able to contribute with your own deep analysis work in areas of your own expertise. You are expected to report and present your analysis work both internally in the Huawei Sweden office, but also to our close colleagues in Headquarters in China.

5G Mobile Terminal System Researcher/Expert

Job description:
Huawei Gothenburg research center is now looking for a 5G mobile terminal system researcher/expert. As a technical expert you are expected to participate in and propose novel ideas to lead the mm-wave 5G mobile terminal system research. You will also analyze requirements, define, and design systems and product architectures, and verify the proposed solutions by cooperating with different teams including system design, product design and product management.

Model Driven Design Software Expert

We are currently looking for a software expert to take on the challenges to develop trustworthy SW for 5G wireless infrastructure products.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for modeling, simulation, verification and code generation of wireless baseband software. You will analyze requirements, evaluate tools and domain specific languages, and model the application and Huawei in-house developed baseband platform.
The project is organized in very close cooperation with the Huawei wireless teams in Shanghai.

Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 10 years industrial experience in software development and modeling, and strong background in wireless communications such as LTE or 5G, as well as good knowledge in PHY Layer applications.

More specifically:
• Experience of the development process of Eclipse components

RF System Expert

We are currently providing a consultant opportunity in our RU-System group in Kista. This role is focused on
world-leading Radio Unit (RU) solutions. The prime objective is R&D within RU system.

The areas of the research comprise:
• 5G RF solution research, including 5G low-frequency and 5G high-frequency massive MIMO active
antenna systems (AASs).
• RU system algorithm analysis, such as: DPD, CFR, SRC, ICS, CPRI etc.
• RF key technology and sub-system research, such as: antenna calibration, timing and
synchronization etc.
• RU system architecture analysis, including logical and physical architectures.

Qualifications & experience
This position requires you to be an expert in RF-Systems and to have very strong skills in modeling and
simulations. You are expected to have the ability to track latest technical trends in RF systems. We hope you
have more than 10 years’ experience in RF systems. Hands-on experience in designing and characterizing
RF building blocks as well as building RF test beds is a must. Familiar with RF measurement instruments, e.g.
VNAs, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, and oscilloscopes. In-depth knowledge on massive
MIMO AASs is a plus. Previous experience of telecom/ base station systems timing and synch aspects,
including time and frequency distribution, oscillators and PLLs is also a plus.

Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer

Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior Power Electronics Hardware Designer with strong knowledge
on Electrical Vehicle (EV) Technology to our Engineering Competence Centre to take on the
challenge within Power Electronics with completely digital control. The work will be done in very
close cooperation with our design teams in Kista-Stockholm-Sweden and in China.
In this position, you will be responsible for design of converters in the field of power electronics with
special focus on DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC converters.
The work includes analysis and experimental work in our lab environment.

Essential Skills required (as many from list below):
• We expect more than 2 years experiences on Power Electronics Design (new topological
circuits) including digital control.
• We are also searching for persons with deep understanding of development EV technologies
and of simulations.
• An experience from various topology families is very much appreciated, especially for
electrical vehicle solutions.
